    Labconco FreeZone 6 Liter -50 C Console Freeze Dryer with Stoppering Tray Dryer, 230 V

    This Freeze Dryer is designed for lyophilizing moderate to large sample loads and stoppering vials or serum bottles under vacuum. The newly integrated Lyo-Works OS provides a real-time display of information such as the collector temperature, the vacuum level, and the end-point detection system (optional), shown on a 5" full-color, capacitive touch screen.

    • Console:
    • 3/4 hp HCFC / CFC-free refrigeration system to cool collector to -58 °F / -50 °C
    • Brushed stainless steel and glacier white, epoxy-coated steel exterior with blue accents
    • Upright stainless steel collector coil and chamber
    • LCD that displays system operating parameters, set-up parameters and alarm messages
    • Red alarm light that flashes and beeper that sounds to indicate that an abnormal system event has occurred, including: power failure, improper line voltage supply, collector temperature rise above -40 °C, service vacuum pump (after 1000 hours of vacuum use), and moisture in collector
    • Moisture sensor that prevents refrigeration or vacuum start-up when moisture is detected in the collector chamber area
    • Vacuum break valve that bleeds air into the system when power to the freeze dryer or vacuum pump is shut off
    • LED vacuum and temperature "waves" for at-a-glance display of relative system vacuum and collector temperature
    • Vacuum control valve that maintains setpoint vacuum level
    • Rear-mounted RS-232 port to transmit data to a user-supplied computer. Transmission intervals may be user-configured for 10, 30, 60, 300, or 600 seconds
    • Automatic start-up switch for collector cool-down and vacuum pull-down with manual override switches
    • Retractable, 9" collector drain hose
    • Power switch and rear-mounted electrical receptacle (for vacuum pump connection)

    • LCD for display of system and probe temperatures in °C or °F, vacuum in mBar, Pa or Torr, and the segment of the program in progress
    • Microprocessor-controlled temperature ramp and hold programming from -40 °C to 40 °C and memory to store five programs and repetition of identical protocols
    • Control panel with operating switches, stoppering control know, vacuum release valve control knob and 1/8" OD backfill port
