Parr 2819 Pellet Press with 3.0 mm Punch and Die Set

The Parr 2819 Pellet Press provides a convenient means for compressing powdered materials into pellet or tablet form without a heavy investment in expensive tablet-making machinery. It is a compact, hand-operated press that can be used anywhere in the laboratory, requiring very little bench space and no fixed mounting, producing uniform pellets in a polished stainless steel die and ejecting them smoothly into a stainless receiver without danger of contamination.
    • Pellet making in 4 easy steps
    • Easy to clean
    • Compressive force from lever provides mechanical advantage up to a 50 to 1 ratio
    • Anvil rotation allows to raise or lower the die so that pellets can be produced with any desired thickness using the maximum force of the press
    • Die adjustment enables light or fluffy materials to be pressed easily
    • Variable anvil setting allows for adjusting the amount of pressure applied to the pellet
    • Fixed anvil setting allows for reproducible pellets with equal density
    • Punch & Die Sets are heat treated for added strength and hardness, which gives the metal a characteristics dark color but does not alter its corrosion resistance
